Michael Connor has been working
in the beauty industry for over 30
years. He’s worked for Estee
Lauder, Mac, and Aveda salons,
and he is a strong believer in
giving back to the community. As
an ambassador of the MAC AIDS
Fund and
as a
volunteer
for Manna’s
Shut Up &
Dance,
Code Red,
and other
worthy
charities,
Michael has donated his talents to
help make a difference.
Michael was born and educated in
New Jearsy and lives in
Philadelphia, PA for the past 30
years. His talent has been seen in
Philadelphia Magazine, Varga
Calendar, Tony Ward’s digital
magazine cover, Shut Up & Dance
bus shelters and printed ads. He
also appeared on Channel 29’s “Q
Show” with Quincy Harris as part
of Faces by Fre who he also
worked with for 10 seasons at The
Curtis Institute and several
seasons with Temple Opera Dept.
Michael has been involved in film
and stage work for the past 10
years—everything from live stage
performances, commercials to
short films to full-length features,
as well as television appearances.
Most of his short films have been
chosen because of their important
message; something that he is
very proud of.
Makeup skills include everything
from glamour looks to special
effects. When it comes to hair
styling, he specializes in natural
hair, curly styles, braiding,
extensions (including keratin
treatments!), and wig installation…
